Cause #1=Global Missions ICC (International Christian Church)

July 1979, we (my mom and five children reunited with our father after four years of separation) landed on US Soil from Lisbon, Portugal as refugees.  God Has A Bigger Plan! I was born in Huambo, Angola (Africa) in 1970 during the end of Portuguese Colonialism of Angola. The cost for Independence (1975) has been 27 Years of Civil War follow up with 16 Years of Corruption and Chaos, which has yielded suffering to a nation!  Why am I running the Naperville Half on 10/21/18 and Indy Half on 11/3/18?  I really BELIEVE that true, everlasting peace and salvation is through the TRUE Gospel of Jesus.  The Chicago ICC is committed to Global Missions and your Donation will be directed to World Evangelism, which includes Angola, Africa!

Cause #2 = Indiana Prairie Education Foundation:

Because my 13 year old daughter goes to Scullen Middle School, which is in this District and as parent committee chair of technology, I am running to raise funds for this education foundation!
